In 1990 the fair took place for the first time in the Logenhaus in West Berlin. In the beginning it was the 2 founding fathers: Michael Nietsch and Frank Rudolf, who organized the fair for the Berlin ready-made clothing and the young companies from the new federal states.

Over the years, more and more representatives from Berlin were added until they moved to the Ullsteinhaus in Berlin Tempelhof in 1998 due to the size. Since 2011, the fair has taken place twice a year in the Ludwig Loewe courtyards in Berlin-Moabit.
